One of the most formidable forts in Rajasthan, the Kumbhalgarh Fort is now a World Heritage Site. Its 36 Km long wall is the second longest in the world, and most of it is still intact. The fort is the birthplace of Maharana Pratap, and there are some ancient temples within its walls. Do not forget to watch the light, sound and music show at the fort every evening. The lighting effect of the show is spectacular and seeing the entire fort illuminated in the evening is a mesmerizing experience.
